The concrete sub-floor had to be grinded to remove the raised areas which may cause the new floor to become unstable.
According to the natural light direction, walls parallelism and room widths we chose the alignment which values most this wonderful floor.
The engineered oak floor was fitted throughout the ground floor and this really increased the already wide space. By using narrow boards with small bevels on the sides but quite long and without bevels on the ends, a continuous minimalist floor was constructed which blends superbly with the home ambience.
