Quality is the heart of sustainability

At Fin Wood we always craft for life. We deliver the highest standard of quality with skilled workmanship and top quality materials and tools. We believe quality work that lasts is the heart of sustainability.

Our partners are committed to sustainability

We work with reputable quality focused manufacturers that are FSC certified based in Europe and the UK. These manufacturers source from well managed, legal, sustainable forests and don’t waste wood in the manufacturing process. They supply long-lasting wooden floors that will not have to be replaced within a decade.

We use reputable products

We also use good quality products to support sustainability. For example, we use the industry premium STAUF adhesive which is non toxic and not harmful for the environment whilst offering high performance bond and elasticity which is critical for a floor Crafted for Life. We plan the most efficient cuts to minimise waste and use materials responsibly.

Giving wood a Second Life

True sustainability means ensuring materials don’t go to waste. Building on our long term developed craftsmanship, we have introduced Second Life—a new range of dining tables and interior items crafted entirely from our quality offcuts and leftover wood. By meticulously repurposing these exceptional timbers into unique, character-rich furniture, we close the loop on our material cycle and ensure every single board fulfills its potential.

Life long investment

Customers view our beautifully bespoke wooden floors as a lifelong investment which will increase the value of their property. Whether it’s a complete house renovation, one room in an apartment or a grand staircase, in the long term It is cheaper to invest in quality that lasts. Our customers appreciate that by buying a naturally hard-wearing material they’re contributing to a more eco-friendly and sustainable way of living with a product that won’t need replacing or disposing of after a few years of use.

Smarter travel

We have reduced our fleet of vehicles to a few vans which we use to transport materials and tools to projects and our team use public transport wherever possible. We plan our routes efficiently to avoid criss-crossing London, to save carbon, energy and time.
