Every Fin Wood floor is crafted for life with precision and care. The Studio Collection represents the next chapter of our commitment to ‘crafted for life’. As we bring in house the artistry of wood polishing the creative possibilities with colour become limitless. From dark, daring and dramatic to light and subtle finishes applied onto all wood formats, species and grades we can give true expression of your vision. 

Studio Collection encompasses an array of tested finishing recipes which we continue to develop as we experiment and collaborate with designers and clients. Each finishing recipe starts with a water borne stain that gives a rich, deep look revealed with the final coat of hardwax oil. Our technique opens the wood grain to give a more tactile feel but also endless radiance under light changes.

The Studio Collection incorporates traditional hand finishing techniques which permits us to enhance the wood grain at every stage. Hand finishing is followed by natural air drying of each coat to allow for deep penetration and long lasting protection. Beyond the Studio Collection, we gladly offer further colour customisation for a truly bespoke solution.
