A multi stage project for which we had to thoroughly prepare the sub-floor: the carpet and thermoplastic tiles were removed. We grinded the lumps and humps of the screed to achieve a plane surface. Then liquid DPM was used to secure the new engineered hardwood floor against any potential damp. Also the skirting boards were replaced. The superior strength and stability of engineered hardwood floors makes them less likely to expand or contract, meaning they’re less susceptible to changes in temperatures and humidity.
