Natural Look Oak Engineered Boards Installation in SW15 Putney, London

Same home but a new one. This is what a beautiful, well crafted wooden floor can achieve.
As we well know a wonderful floor just looks great and proper. Yet this simple result is achieved thorough serious care of details. This takes time, patience and skills. This project demanded all of these as the sub-floor needed a lot of reworking to make it suitable for installing a new wooden floor. The walls as usual were not parallel and there was a risk of ending the floor misaligned.  
At completion our client was pleased with the results and we were as well.

An impact sound reduction membrane was glued over the sub-floor to dampen the footfall sound. This allowed us to glue the engineered floor over the membrane thus achieving a solid floor.

The skirting was undercut to allow the installation of the floor under the skirting  with its required expansion gap. Thus we avoided the unaesthetic beading or the inherent wall damages when removing the existing skirting.
