Beside its fascinating look the herringbone parquet will always bring a touch of elegance into any home and this is can be subtle underlined with a mitred border.
We opted for a continuous installation through the living room door to achieve the effect of a larger space and to make the home more welcoming.

The first stage, critical for the proper installation of a parquet floor, was the sub-floor preparation. We secured all the loose boards, and they were quite a few as many other plumbers and electricians did their work not so careful. This was followed by plywood boarding so to achieve a continuously flat surface.
These being completed we could proceed with the undercutting of the skirting boards and after the actual herringbone parquet installation.

Our recommendation was the engineered parquet and the clients choice was .
