Fitting Engineered Oak Natural

The natural finish of these long boards matched perfectly with the historic architectural style actually emphasizing it.
On a compact surface the details will make a huge difference. For example, just avoid using a threshold by seamlessly joining the wooden floor with tiles and you create a welcoming surface. We used this feature here.
Being a second floor flat we were require to deliver a solution for impact sound reduction without adding resilience to the new engineered oak floor. We went for a specialized approach, not so commonly used. A dedicated membrane for such requirements was bonded to the sub-floor therefore we obtained a solid surface with impact sound reduction capabilities. Since the sub-floor was prepared we proceeded with the wooden floor fitting by gluing it down. The end result was what we intended: a solid floor with sound insulation.
We could deliver this beautiful result with the exceptional quality wood provided by Natural Wood Floor Co. It was also our recommendation.
