The floor was carefully chosen by our clients which also had specific requirements for the design features. Our technical and aesthetic advice was taken also.
The subfloor was cleared of the old covering. We checked the floorboards and ply boarded the subfloor. The skirting was undercut to allow the new floor to be installed without a beading and also to have the skirting on top of the herringbone parquet floor.
After setting the main row in accordance to the focal points we installed the whole surface after which the single row border was fitted with the corners mitered and around the fireplace a sigle board frame was built. This special feature was specifically chosen to underline the effect of the fireplace into the overall ambiance of the space.
