A simple and straight forward project turned out to be a bit more complicated. After taking up the old laminate we were in for a bad surprise: the worst rotten sub-floor we ever seen.

A simple and straight forward project turned out to be a bit more complicated. After taking up the old laminate we were in for a bad surprise: the worst rotten sub-floor we ever seen. As you can see in the pictures the plywood actually started to "melt". Therefore we had to stop all the work and recommended that a specialised company should deal with the source of damp. So this small project was started in spring and finished in late autumn.
Still the end result was wonderful.
