Oak Floor Professional Deep Cleaning in SE21 Dulwich, London

We were pleased to find this engineered oak floor kept in such a good condition after 7 years of use. The client told us that a rigorous cleaning schedule was followed through the years and only dedicated substances were used for this. Still some deeper wear marks as well as ingrained dirt could be noticed by now. Therefore a professional intervention was required.
In this case there was another option beside sanding and refinishing since the hardwood floor was kept in such a good care and the client didn't want to shorten the lifespan of the floor through sanding.
After a careful inspection we found a couple of displaced boards which could be easily fix back as they were on the sides. Also a few deeper scratches were found and informed our client about them. Beside this the oil finish was in good condition.
Thus we went for a professional deep scrubbing. The furniture was moved away with the exception of the large corner sofa and table which we carefully stacked. The whole surface was vacuumed after which the cleaning substance, diluted, was spread over the floor. With a dedicated pad the floor was scrubbed with the buffing machine.
Once the cleaning substance was removed and the surface dried we applied one coat of Osmo Polyx Oil.
