Osmo Wash and Care 8016: Special cleaning concentrate for wooden and cork floors treated with Osmo Polyx-Oil. Also suitable for varnished, stone, plastic, PVC and other water resistant surfaces. Highly effective and water soluble for quick, easy and thorough floor maintenance. Just a dash of Wash and Care in mop water removes everyday dirt and grime exceptionally, and thanks to the natural oils, it prevents the floor from drying out.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Water-soluble cleaning concentrate for everyday cleaning and maintenance – especially developed for oiled and waxed wooden floors. It contains soaps based on natural oils. The wood does not dry out from cleaning. When used regularly, the highly effective Wash and Care produces a low-maintenance, non-slip surface. The water-soluble ingredients prevent streaks and do not form a layer. Especially mild on skin, free of dyes and aromas, biodegradable, free of solvents and emissions, and thus it supports a healthy living environment.

RECOMMENDED USE

Osmo Wash and Care is especially suitable for cleaning and maintaining oiled and waxed wooden flooring. Furthermore, it is also recommended for furniture, doors, wall and ceiling panelling.

INGREDIENTS

Based on natural plant oils; 5-15% plant soaps (anionic tensides); <5% non-ionic tensides; care components, suspending agent and preservatives (METHYLCHLO-ROISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE).

TECHNICAL DATA

• Specific gravity: 1.01-1.03 g/cm³
• Odour: faint/mild, after drying odourless
• pH value at 20°C: 10.9

STORAGE

Up to 5 years and longer if container is kept dry, closed tightly and stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C. Do not expose to frost during transport.

SURFACE PREPARATION

To remove loose dirt, we recommend dry cleaning with Osmo Dust-Mop, a conventional vacuum cleaner or broom.

METHODS OF APPLICATION

Manual: Wash and Care is ideally used with Osmo Opti-Set (Micro-Mop Plush). Add Osmo Wash and Care to water. Clean the floor with a damp (not wet) mop and wipe dry immediately. When applied regularly, the surface becomes resistant to dirt and signs of wear.
Mechanical: Spread the diluted Wash and Care solution with a pump sprayer. Loosen dirt with a single disc machine, e.g. Osmo FloorXcenter, and a white pad. Immediately, mop away or remove with a round Osmo Microfibre Pad for machines.

COVERAGE

• 1 capful of Wash and Care per litre water.
• For higher levels of soiling or for mechanical applications, dosage can be increased up to a mixing ratio of 1:1.

NOTE
To specifically remove especially tough stains and to occasionally, intensively refresh waxed or oiled floors, we recommend using our tried and trusted Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner, which is based on natural plant oils and waxes (undiluted use with Osmo Opti-Set Active Fibre Cloth). For a complete renovation, we recommend Osmo Polyx-Oil.
For use with Osmo FloorXcenter:
White pad: for loosening everyday household dirt and stains.
Brush ring: for removing coarse dirt even in pores.
Red pad: for removing especially tough stains. (Reoiling is recommended.)
After loosening dirt, remove dirt with the Microfibre Pad. Repeat process until the complete area is clean. For detailed information, please consult the Product Information for FloorXcenter.
Strong mechanical cleaning applications (e.g. single disc machine with a red pad) also remove soluble wax and oil remnants. After drying, one coat of an Osmo Polyx-Oil must be applied thinly to flooring.

CAUTION

Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of leftover product and completely emptied packaging according to local official guidelines (waste code number 08 01 11). Only completely emptied cans can be recycled.
