Raw
Our Raw finish represents the ultimate achievement in invisible timber protection. Specially formulated to counteract the natural darkening that happens when wood gets wet or sealed, this finish locks in the exact pale, fresh, and organic look of freshly cut, unfinished oak while providing premium, long-lasting hardwax oil protection.
Raw
Across long, expansive planks, the Raw finish delivers a seamless, flowing, and incredibly modern aesthetic. It frames the subtle linear grains and delicate swirls with absolute clarity. The fresh straw and ash tones bring a crisp, architectural precision to geometric layouts. The blocks interplay beautifully with changing daylight, shifting effortlessly from cool sandy-grey tones to warm oatmeal highlights. It perfectly preserves oak’s authentic, natural chalky-grey and soft green-beige undertones, masterfully preventing the wood from shifting into heavy golden, amber, or yellow hues over time. Because it mimics unsealed timber, the color remains remarkably uniform and understated. It gently balances the transition between pale sapwood and light malt-brown heartwood.
Species: Continental (European) Oak
Finish: Hardwax-Oil; An additional coat is recommended after installation for extra protection but also to seal the joints between the wood floor elementsÂ
Origin: European Oak (Quercus Robur). Grown in responsibly managed eastern European forests. The trees are rigorously selected and marked by the forest rangers once a year for auctioning. The adjudicated trees will be harvested progressively rather than all at once. New oak trees are planted to replenish the forest.
