Subfloors
The subfloor and the climatic conditions of the room must meet the requirements of DIN 18356 or DIN 18365. Subfloors must be level, permanently dry, solid, and free from dirt and adhesion-inhibiting substances.
Apply appropriate Wakol levelling compounds to uneven subfloors. The technical information on the primers and levelling compounds must be heeded.
Usage
Bonding the footfall soundproofing mat:
WAKOL TS 102 Footfall Soundproofing Mat, 2 mm, must be bonded close together on the prepared subfloor diagonally to the floor covering strip with the same adhesive used for the top covering. Apply the adhesive with a TKB A2, B1 or B2 notched trowel (parquet). Fit soundproofing plate following appropriate airing time and press down well. Rub down a short time later. Laying of the top covering can occur on the next day, after the adhesive has set.
Bonding of the top covering:
Before laying PVC and CV flooring or rubber and linoleum flooring, level out the soundproofing plate in the system with WAKOL D 3050 Plastification Additive.
Sand the compound layer after hardening. Textile flooring, laminate and parquet are bonded directly to the soundproofing plate without levelling compound.

Important
Do not use at temperatures below +15 °C. In cold weather, warm up WAKOL TS 102 Footfall Soundproofing Mat, 2 mm, in due time in a heated room. All information is based on approx. 20 °C and 65 % relative air humidity.
If paint is to be used, first clarify its suitability for parquet bonding on an elastic underlay mat.
