It accentuates the wood's long, sweeping grain lines and dramatic cathedral patterns, providing the airy, expansive aesthetic of Nordic softwood alongside the structural resilience of premium oak.

Vitlut provides a beautiful, cost-effective alternative to Douglas fir, utilizing the striking grain patterns of Southern Yellow Pine. This Nordic-inspired finish layers a soft, translucent white-lye wash over the timber to create a bright, spacious aesthetic filled with organic warmth.
The treatment beautifully accentuates the wood’s long, sweeping lines, dramatic cathedral patterns, and distinctive bold growth rings. Origin: Our Southern Yellow Pine is sourced responsibly from the Southern States of the USA and is moderately relatively ’heavy’ weight softwood making it easy to work and suitable for a wide range of flooring and joinery projects.
Maintenance: This finish can be cleaned regularly using dedicated cleaners. These feed and strengthen the surface over time.
Spot repair and Refinish: Professional maintenance will make this finish richer and protect it over time. Spot repairs are possible.
