Oak Board Natural Lacquered Drought 15x240mm
Oak Board Natural Lacquered Drought 15x240mm: This floor features the warm, mid-brown tones of Oak enhanced with a subtle white finish that adds brightness without overwhelming the natural character. The result is a fresh, clean look that effortlessly uplifts any space.
The surface has been brushed to remove the softer grain, allowing the colour to penetrate more deeply and create a beautifully textured appearance. Oak’s versatility and excellent pigment absorption make it an ideal choice for pre-sealed flooring. The unique grain and natural charm of the Oak remain visible through the finish, delivering a floor with timeless appeal that pairs seamlessly with a variety of interior styles
Our new Hybrid lacquered flooring is designed to be a highly durable low maintenance finish with a very natural feel and look.
Our engineered wood flooring meets modern requirements and keeps a traditional wood flooring appearance. The multiple layers of birch plywood backing give support to the hardwood top layer, resulting in a floor that looks and feels like a solid wood floor but that is suitable for under floor heating which can still be sanded and re-finished after years of use.
Technical details
Our engineered board has been produced using WBP birch ply, manufactured to European standard EN 326-2. The adhesive used to bond the board is an E1 category, PUR adhesive (formaldehyde free) to DIN/EN 14257 and DIN/EN 204 low emission glue which is heat and water resistant in accordance with BS EN 14342:2005+A1. The top layer is kiln dried to between 8-12% moisture content.
The formaldehyde emissions are: 0,01 ppm, pentachlorophenol emissions: <0.8 mg/kg. Thermal conductivity (W/mK) is 0,10W/mK.
Suitable for secret fixing to a ply subfloor, floating on an underlay or a fully bonded installation to a screed subfloor. The board is supplied with a micro bevel along the length of the board, factory lacquered ready to use.
Compatible for use in conjunction with underfloor heating the board complies with BS 8201:2011, rated in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, and is classified D fl -S1 when laid as a fixed floor on a structural subfloor or E fl- S1 when laid on battens or joists for minimal smoke production..
