Having purchased engineered wood flooring ourselves, we sought out several quotes from wood flooring fitters listed on the Checkatrade website - but selected Finwood as we were impressed by Alin's professionalism and deep knowledge of the subject when he came to visit us. Alin's quote was fair and although not the cheapest we decided that you get what you pay for and this turned out to be the case as Alin and his team did an absolutely brilliant job fitting the floor and we are delighted with the work. Alin supervises his team really well and they left the flat immaculate when they left.

A really professional service from start to finish. Very strong technical expertise showed through at the first consultation. Great attention to detail. A great feel for the aesthetics of timber flooring, and how to combine subtly different grains and hues. Top quality equipment, including totally efficient dust management when undercutting skirting. Totally focused on the project, working long days without breaks on hottest day of the year. Punctual, reliable and courteous. FinWood was not our cheapest quote for this 45 sq m project, but they inspired confidence and did a fabulous job.

They finished ahead of schedule! The team worked so hard and so fast without a tea break! They've picked up another client just as they were leaving when a neighbour called round. The quality of work was excellent.

There was one tiny area where the natural wood was darker, which was very obvious when the job was nearly finished - they immediately replaced the wood and reworked the area - no argument, no extra cost. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They were not the cheapest quote but we feel we got excellent value for money - and a beautiful floor.
